I have been in the coffee industry since 2013, started as a barista when I was studying in University. For me, manufacturing is the largest contributor in our industry including coffee roasting.

 

Coffee roasting involve culinary art, science, disciplines and determination. Part of it dealing with something seasonal and doing practically the same thing over and over again, not everyone built to be a roaster so that I felt like I am special if I can get my hands into the machine and being in touch with the coffee itself in a very intimate way such as coffee roasting.
